In order for your “old” vehicle to be granted permission into Barbados, it must fall into one of the three “old” vehicle classifications: vintage, antique or classic. These three classifications are defined by clear-cut age restrictions.

Additionally, there are three specific requirements you and your vehicle must satisfy. Proof of meeting these requirements is an essential part of your application for an import licence from the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs. The import licence is an important piece of documentation required to clear your vehicle through local customs.
